The Amsterdam-based composer and software developer Josep Garcés owned audio software company LiveLoop Music Software has just released ‘LiveLoop (version 4.0)’ — An intuitive and customizable professional looping software for live music performance introducing new creative ways of composing and experimenting with sound.

 

With LiveLoop 4.0, you can create professional live performances and recordings, all with one versatile interface. Loop multi-layered sounds and complex rhythms in real-time, quantized to the beat with a unique sync mode. LiveLoop Pro comes with a complex set of features, FX, and plug-in support such as VST and M4L.

LiveLoop 4.0 is an advanced looping software tool which overcomes the constrains imposed by current live looping hardwares and softwares in the market. LiveLoop 4.0 provides you with experiences of full stage control with the flexibility of an intuitive and customizable software. Also, it presents advanced features for live performance such as 256 Step Sequencer, easy synchronizing different time signatures, syncing options for your loops to any external hardware or software with Ableton Link and MIDI Clock technology, plug-and-play your favorite MIDI controllers, and it lets you load LiveLoop’s M4L or use your own plug-ins (VST, M4L, AU) as instruments or FX.

The MIDI Looping mode is now available in LiveLoop 4.0. MIDI loopers have become a live performance necessity for many artists. LiveLoop’s ‘MIDI Looper’ is designed to be an intuitive live performance tool. To play your MIDI instruments with the LiveLoop MIDI Looper, simply connect your MIDI controllers, choose between two MIDI modes (free and sync) for each track, choose your input controller and add your favorite plug-in instrument. Then you are ready to make your first MIDI loop. To extend the fun, send your loops through the Live Jam network and play with your friends.

Another new feature to LiveLoop 4.0 is ‘Live Jam’. Live Jam enables you to connect and play with your friends over the internet by sharing audio and MIDI data in real time.
